Zone description : Dr. Robotnik’s final techno-fortress on South Island, built with the energy of the Chaos Emerald, overflowing with traps and vacuum tubes, the Electric Egg Zone will be the greatest test for Sonic and Tails in their adventure to save South Island for the second time.

Using the power of the Chaos Emerald he found, Dr. Robotnik recaptures South Island and creates weapons based on Chaos energy. Later, the supersonic hero Sonic the Hedgehog and his best friend Miles “Tails” Prower arrive on the island, find 5 Chaos Emeralds and fight to retrieve the remaining Emerald from Dr. Robotnik, thus freeing the South Island.
The final step in their adventure is the destruction of Robotnik’s main base on the South Island, the Electric Egg Zone, where Sonic and Tails face off against the evil Doctor himself in his new robot, the Laser Walker. After defeating the villain, the heroes finally retrieve the Chaos Emerald captured by Robotnik and completely free the South Island from the villain’s power.
