Worth a Chance [Sonic and the Secret Rings]
Kind and friendly, Shahra is always eager to do good and help people. However, having a complicated relationship with the evil Erazor Djinn she had to make a difficult choice – to help her lover achieve his evil goals or to stand up for the principles of rightness. Alas, Shahra chose the first and it is largely thanks to her that Erazor Djinn was able to get all seven World Rings.
Shahra thought she had it all figured out, but Sonic’s pure and good intentions caused her to reconsider. In the end, she sacrificed her own life to save the hedgehog from death. Fortunately, Sonic found a way to bring her back to life while sealing Erazor for eternity.

Sonic and the Secret Rings (2007)
Shahra, being Genie of the ring and dwelling in the world of the Arabian Nights book, had a complicated relationship with Erazor Djinn, who was prone to evil and chaotic acts. For his evil deeds, Erazor Djinn was imprisoned in a lamp until he fulfilled the wishes of thousands of people. However, after his release from the lamp, Erazor Djinn only accumulated more hatred and set out to destroy Arabian Nights. To this end, he freed the evil spirits and ordered Shahra to find all the World Rings. Shahra, using Genie’s magic, leaves the world of the book and enters the real world, where she finds Sonic the Hedgehog and sets up a master and Genie contract with him and Sonic promises to help Shahra save Arabian Nights. In the world of the book, the heroes are attacked by Erazor Djinn. Villain orders Sonic to search for the World Rings. In order to motivate Sonic, Erazor places a flaming mark on the hedgehog’s heart, which will kill Sonic as soon as the flames go out. Sonic and Shahra defeat Erazor, but he escapes to a door that can only be opened with the seven World Rings. After collecting them, Sonic and Shahra catch up with Erazor, but at that moment Shahra, overcome by her feelings, gives the World Rings to the villain. Already celebrating his victory, Erazor attacks Sonic, but Shahra, feeling guilty, covers Sonic with her body and dies. Erazor absorbs the Rings and transforms into Alf Layla wa-Layla. Sonic absorbs the Rage, Hatred and Sadness Rings and takes the form of Darkspine Sonic. Using his new powers, Darkspine Sonic defeats Erazor Djinn and using the Djinn lamp makes three wishes for Erazor – to resurrect Shahra, restore Arabian Nights and seal Erazor Djinn in the lamp for eternity. The resurrected Shahra, not knowing what to say, cries silently. Sonic, wanting to calm her down, riddles her with a mountain of handkerchiefs.
