Were shown:
a) Some kind of Boosting, but without effect, and seems like without giving damage. Used on rails as well.
b) Some kind of puzzle or a useable object, looking like hamster wheel, which was activating some mechanism (?).
c) Combat ability to give damage after running full circle around the enemy.
d) Homing Attack, which is continuing with close combat combo, like Chaos Attack of Shadow from Sonic 06.
e) Some kind of Whirlwind, visually looks like combination of Heroes’ original Whirlwind attack and Adventure 2′ Sonic Wind.
f) Railing. Who would’ve thought.
g) Bossfight with big thing and metal… “hand”(?).
Assuming from what we’ve seen, obvious is that the game will have much deeper combat system. Might be leveling system, or maybe even inventory. Locations seems quite opened and free for exploring, and yet, linear sections like the ones with railing still present. We already seen that the game is inspired highly with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (leaving the trailer for people to compare):
