The Social media coordinator/PR Manager of Sega of America Aaron Webber informed about the current absence from SEGA regarding to 3D Sonic game production.
Webber stated to japanese gaming news, via finalweapon: “SEGA knows that the quality of the past 3D Sonic games wasn’t where “it needed to be” due to rushed production, so a few years ago the development teams have agreed to “put more time into things as they go forward” which is why there’s been years of absence for 3D Sonic games”.
This would mean that SEGA tries to increase the quality and range of the upcoming 3D Sonic release, which is good news. This type of acknowledgement forms a shine of hope for the future of our beloved blue blur.
They told absolutely the same before Forces.
